PLAN YOUR WARRIOR

Warrior talent trees: what to compare

Compare weapon attacks in Arms, sustained melee tools in Fury, and shield-based control in Protection. Start with the abilities you want to use, then check how many points their rows and prerequisites require.

Arms: Weapon attacks and cleave

Arms links weapon attacks with control. Spearing Strike has a specific bonus against Giants, Dragonkin and mounted targets; Sweeping Strikes adds a nearby target to a limited number of attacks. Mortal Strike adds healing reduction. Consider the enemies and group situations you are planning for before spending deeply.

Read all Arms talent ranks →

Fury: Off-hand attacks and offensive cooldowns

Raging Blows changes Whirlwind to include the off-hand weapon. Death Wish trades increased incoming damage for Physical damage and Fear immunity. Read that defensive cost before pairing it with an aggressive allocation. Bloodthirst gives another direct attack and a movement effect.

Read all Fury talent ranks →

Protection: Shield tools and defensive access

Protection offers different forms of survival and control: Last Stand temporarily increases health, Vanguard permits Charge in Defensive Stance, and Shield Slam uses a shield. A valid point split does not establish your equipment, threat output or encounter survival.

Read all Protection talent ranks →

Choose a purpose—leveling, group damage, healing, tanking or PvP—then compare the conditions that matter to that purpose. Save separate allocations to revisit. This is an explanation of the imported talent effects, not a tested build ranking.

CHECK THE POINT COMMITMENT

Key Warrior talents by tree

These are the single-rank choices recorded at rows 3, 4, 5 and 7. The point figure includes the point spent on the talent; earlier-row requirements and named prerequisites still apply. Follow a talent to its full effect and requirements.

A 31-point commitment leaves 20 of the level-60 budget for other choices. A 16-point commitment leaves 35. These are point-budget examples, not recommended builds. The standard budget is level minus nine. The Legacy Talented selector advances the first point by one level per rank, up to five ranks, while keeping the total capped at 51.

Warrior talent FAQ

Is Vitality still in this Warrior tree?

Vitality appears in our September 15 import but not in the September 26 import. Bastion and Focused Rage also changed grid positions. Use the current reference when rebuilding an older Protection allocation.

Is this an official WoW Forever calculator?

No. Forever Talents is an independent fan tool using attributed community beta records. It is not affiliated with Blizzard.

Why is a talent locked?

The planner requires five points per earlier row and maximum ranks in any named prerequisite. Points in another tree do not unlock this tree. These are the planner’s current model rules.

Does this tell me the best build?

No. It helps organize an allocation, not simulate damage or rank builds. Beta values may change. A valid allocation does not simulate talent interactions or prove a build is strongest.

Where are my saved builds?

Only in this browser on this device. Clearing site storage removes them. Share links let you keep a portable copy without an account.
