WoW Forever Troll Racials

Recorded racial abilities
Berserking
Instant, 3 min cooldown. Increases your spellcasting and attack speed by 10% for 15 sec.
Regeneration
Health regeneration rate increased by 20%. In addition, 20% of total Health regeneration will continue during combat.
Beast Slaying
Damage dealt versus Beasts increased by 5%.
Rapid Regeneration
Channeled, 3 min cooldown. Regenerate 50% of your maximum Health over 6 sec. Any movement, action, or damage taken will cancel the effect.
Best classes for Troll in WoW Forever
Berserking affects both attack and spellcasting speed, so Hunter, Mage and Shaman can consider it for a planned throughput window. Priest can evaluate its casting benefit for the spells being used. Beast Slaying depends on the enemy being a Beast; do not carry its bonus into a ranking for a different creature type. Troll Warlock is supported in this Forever class list, expanding the available caster options.

Troll in PvE
Use Berserking when the encounter allows sustained attacks or casts instead of immediate movement. A faster action sequence can consume resources sooner, so plan Mana or other resource use with the cooldown. Regeneration helps Health recovery, including the recorded fraction during combat, but is not a substitute for healing through a dangerous hit. Rapid Regeneration requires a protected channel and is easy to waste while periodic damage is still active.
Troll in PvP
A speed cooldown can support pressure or a healing window, but none of these recorded abilities is a direct stun or fear break. Rapid Regeneration is interrupted by movement, another action or damage, making line of sight and a safe gap important. If control prevents you from acting at all, another race’s control recovery may be more relevant than faster casting after the control ends.
Troll vs Orc and Undead
Orc combines an offensive stat window with pet damage and shorter stuns. Undead has specific Charm, Fear and Sleep removal. Troll’s distinction is the speed window and recovery package, with an additional creature-dependent bonus. Match the comparison to your class and encounter rather than assuming Beast Slaying is always active.

Troll racial FAQ
Does Beast Slaying help against every dungeon boss?
No. The record limits its damage bonus to Beasts. Check the actual enemy type; a dungeon setting alone does not establish that the target qualifies.
Is Troll the best race for every available class?
No. These tooltips establish utility, not measured rankings. Compare your activity, enemy type, cooldown timing and class mechanics.
