Best classes for Skyborne (Windshaper) in WoW Forever
Windshaper is the Horde-aligned Skyborne option, with Shaman rather than Mage among its available classes. Wind Blessed gives spellcasting, melee and ranged Haste, so Shaman, Druid and Hunter can each examine the benefit for their chosen role. Elemental Insight is conditional on fighting Elementals. The combination is useful to compare for travel and throughput, but its tooltips do not establish a measured best race.
Available classes: Warrior · Hunter · Rogue · Shaman · Druid.
Skyborne (Windshaper) in PvE
Skysight has a stronger bonus after use at an elemental convergence. The Charged state lasts an hour, persists through death and ends on entering a raid in the checked record. Do not carry the enhanced outdoor value into raid expectations. Walk on Air supports controlled downward gliding, not free upward flight. Plan a safe landing and do not assume a glide lets you bypass an instance’s access requirements.
Skyborne (Windshaper) in PvP
The movement window may help repositioning when you are able to act, while gliding can change a descent route. Neither racial is described as a stun, fear or root break. Consider terrain before choosing a chase or escape path. A Haste bonus helps eligible actions, but it does not solve being locked out of those actions by an opponent’s control.
Skyborne (Windshaper) vs Tauren and Skyborne (High Order)
Tauren is a same-faction Druid or Shaman comparison with area control and more Health. High Order shares the Skyborne glide and Haste concepts but is Alliance-aligned, has Mage instead of Shaman, and uses a different environmental regeneration ability. Faction and party compatibility therefore come before comparing the two environmental bonuses.
