Best classes for Skyborne (High Order) in WoW Forever
High Order is the Alliance-aligned Skyborne option and offers Mage rather than Shaman. Mage and mana-using Druid playstyles can examine Read Leyline’s regeneration utility, while Hunter and other available classes can consider Wind Blessed’s Haste. Elemental Insight applies to Elementals rather than all enemies. Evaluate whether a resource-recovery window or another race’s control-removal ability better addresses the problem you encounter.
Available classes: Warrior · Hunter · Rogue · Mage · Druid.
Skyborne (High Order) in PvE
Read Leyline has a two-second cast and a limited regeneration window. Using it at a Ley Line grants Attuned, which strengthens the bonus but ends on entering a raid. The wording also prevents use while Innervate is active, so a Druid should not assume the effects stack. Walk on Air can help with descending terrain; it does not establish unrestricted flight or permission to skip dungeon entry steps.
Skyborne (High Order) in PvP
A cast-time recovery ability needs an opportunity to complete the cast and benefit from the window. It is not an instant answer to a stun or other loss of control. Glide utility depends on the terrain and intended landing point. Wind Blessed supports eligible action speed, but regeneration, mobility and direct control recovery should remain separate considerations when comparing races.
Skyborne (High Order) vs Night Elf and Skyborne (Windshaper)
Night Elf offers stationary concealment and a critical-strike cooldown, with additional Stealth utility for Druid and Rogue. Windshaper shares part of the Skyborne package but belongs to the Horde and swaps the regeneration ability for Skysight. It also has Shaman instead of Mage. Compare faction-compatible choices first if playing with an established group.
