WoW Forever Ruins of Lordaeron Quests
Faction pickups, prerequisites and a run checklist for Ruins of Lordaeron dungeon quests.
Recommended dungeon band: 15–20. This is a preparation guide, not a minimum-level requirement. Quest chains and item starters must be accepted by each player.
Pickup order and prerequisites
Horde: visit the Sepulcher, Brill and the Apothecarium before the run. Alliance: meet Truman inside before killing the Baron. Both factions should search for the Crest during the route instead of returning through uncleared areas. Keep final-room letter and Edward objectives on the checklist. The source’s detailed Light’s Justice panel mistakenly mentions the Hall of Thanes vault; this guide uses its quest table and explicit Morbin turn-in instead.

Inside the dungeon
- Clear the spider patrols in King’s Alley and isolate Witherfang with his two spiders.
- Defeat the Baron after clearing nearby soldiers and banshees; check doors nearby for the Crest.
- At Lordamere Overlook, clear the area before activating the chimney event for Viktor.
- At Market Street, prepare for the statue event and the Abandoned. Continue through Bjork’s patrol area toward Rath’mael.
- Before leaving, inspect the final area for Edward or the Blood-Stained Letter, and check quest items in every player’s bags.
Before leaving
- Check each player’s quest log, not only the party leader’s completion.
- Loot boss objectives and accept item-started quests before deleting or selling anything.
- Keep follow-up quest items until their delivery is complete.
- Inspect the actual reward choices for your role before turning in.
Horde quest rewards include The Stitcher from Light’s Justice and Gnarled Necromancer’s Staff from The Wrath of Rath’mael. The Baron-related quests offer Slain Baron’s Signet. Alliance can obtain Tarnished Locket from Remember That I Love You. Witherfang’s listed drops include Atrophic Girdle, Segmented Spider Leg and Witherbite Bracers.
